The Climate Crisis -- Solutions from New Mexico

Join U.S. Rep. Ben Ray Luján and leaders from the frontlines of the Climate Crisis in New Mexico for a discussion of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis Report.

Environment New Mexico, the Rio Grande Chapter of the Sierra Club, New Mexico Interfaith Power and Light, and Western Leaders Network are co-hosting a webinar on Thursday, August 27th at 2pm with U.S. Representative Ben Ray Luján to highlight the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis' report on Solving the Climate Crisis and its importance for New Mexico.

New Mexico is on the frontlines of the climate crisis, threatened by increased temperatures, reduced water availability, and more frequent wildfires. The House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis' report lays out a comprehensive plan of action for addressing the climate crisis, promoting clean energy development, resiliency, and environmental and racial justice. The webinar will focus on key aspects of the Report, how they impact New Mexico and our state's homegrown solutions.
