Support the Energy Transition Act

With bipartisan support in the House and Senate, the Legislature passed a groundbreaking clean energy bill, the Energy Transition Act (SB 489). This bill would mean New Mexico utilities will have to get at least 50 percent of their electricity from renewable energy by 2030, 80 percent by 2040, and be 100 percent carbon-free by 2045.

This Energy Transition Act will make New Mexico a national leader in renewable energy by taking advantage of our abundant sunshine and wind, help us improve public health and the environment, and fight climate change.

Will you send a quick thank you to Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham for her leadership on the Energy Transition Act?
