The PRC wants to hear what you think
PNM has proposed to shut down two of four units at the San Juan Generating Station, reducing the amount of energy New Mexico gets from coal. Their proposal is to utilize some coal from the remaining coal units, build more gas plants, bring more nuclear energy onto the grid, and build some solar capacity. The Public Regulatory Commission (PRC) is making final decisions about how PNM will replace energy generated from San Juan. We want to have as much renewable energy as possible.
